Cubbie is a sensory management pod designed to help people regulate their sensory experiences in various environments and is now available in public spaces across the UK and Ireland — giving everyone the opportunity to pause, reset, and recharge in a safe and inclusive environment. 

First time using Cubbie?

To get started, download the Cubbie App and follow the instructions below.

Already a Cubbie user?

Login as usual with your personalised code and start your Cubbie session.

Step-by step guide

Step 1

Once you have downloaded the app and registered your information, touch the screen to get started.

Enter your personal Cubbie code.

Step 3

Tell Cubbie how you are feeling.

Step 4

Depending on how you feel, Cubbie will select a programme for you.

Step 5

Or you can select a blank canvas and design your own programme. Follow the instructions and press done.

Select the duration of your session.

Step 7

Enter Cubbie and immerse yourself in your sensory experience.

Relax and reset.

Accessibility

Every public Cubbie is designed with inclusivity in mind:

  • Doors open and close easily with accessible handles on both sides.

  • Space is provided for a standard wheelchair.

  • All controls are within easy reach.

  • Universal design: Cubbie is designed for individuals of all ages and abilities.

  • Supervision: Children under 13 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.

  • One user at a time: The Cubbie is intended for single-person use. A parent, guardian, or support person may accompany when required.

  • Safety: Some users may experience brief sensory contrast when stepping out. Take a moment to adjust before re-joining your day.
